CloudSkills' clients often ran their sales and accounting systems separately, with no reliable way to move data between their CRM and their ERP without manual entry. At one manufacturing client, pushing a single quote or sales order into the accounting system required creating three separate records across three modules, a slow and error-prone process that ate up staff time. Clients also did not want their independent sales reps logging directly into the ERP system, both to control licensing costs and to keep sensitive accounting data out of reach, but that meant reps had no easy way to see order history or buying activity for their accounts.
